Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Systems Installation Technician. The Security Systems Installation Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems. The technician will also troubleshoot and resolve issues, perform system upgrades, and provide technical support and training to end-users.

Qualifications

• Experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems
• Knowledge of low-voltage systems, wiring, and cabling
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for security system installation and maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in the greater Pittsburgh Region is a plus
• Relevant certifications, such as CEDIA, NICET, or BICSI, are a plus
